Let’s see, I was born and raised in Princeton, MN, technically born in Cambridge, MN but I don’t tell people that! Currently I live in Isanti, MN so I did not venture far away, unlike some of my family. The Fargo, ND and Morehead, MN area I have some family. I’d like to stay in Minnesota, but who knows what life will bring. 

 

For about 20 years now I have been taking photographs in black and white of almost anything you can think of. Inside and outside. I have also been told to stop sitting on them, and to not stop taking photographs So one day I just decided to go through with it and I started to show more and more people and start to get them printed on archival paper and with archival ink so they will last a very long time. My business, cakelens, was half ready!

 

Doing something else seemed natural to me, so I thought of the idea of making cupcake and cake decorations. In stores, what little there is lame. So, I take the time and make, by hand, edible decorations that are big and unique because why not! They can also be frozen for future use.
